What's new in RanchPilot
RanchPilot ships often. Here's what has landed lately, newest first. Everything here runs in today's development version.

Calving watch for milk fever
Older cows (8 and up by default, or the age you choose) and any cow that has had milk fever or grass tetany are now watched from two weeks before calving. Each gets a check reminder for three days after she calves.
A down-cow card on her page calls your vet in one tap, lists simple first aid while you wait, and records the case on her. It's general first aid and reminders, not a diagnosis: your vet decides the treatment.

Search finds tags however you say them
"Yellow 14", "Y14" and "Y0014" now all find the same cow. Type it the way you'd say it across the pen.
-
Bring your records over
We can now move a ranch's full history from the herd app it uses today: animals, calvings, breeding, treatments, weights, sales and money, plus field outlines from a grazing app. There's a dry run first, so you check everything before it's saved.
For now, Greenbow Labs does the move for each ranch. Just ask when you join early access.

Every species, any country
RanchPilot now handles eighteen species plus your own, each with its own gestation, weaning age and words for every stage. Flocks, lots and litters can be kept as one group. Units, currency and grazing units are set for each ranch, and each person picks their own language.
